The Critical Care Nursing MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) aims to provide healthcare professionals, particularly nurses, with foundational knowledge and skills essential for delivering high-quality care in critical care settings. Advancements in technology and medicine have resulted in a growing number of severely ill patients who are now able to survive, creating a greater demand for intensive nursing care. These critically ill patients are typically treated in specialized intensive care units within hospitals, where newer technology is readily available for continuous monitoring of vital signs, assisted ventilation, and rapid resuscitation in the event of life-threatening emergencies.
